Cast In Heaters

Cast-in heaters consist of a tubular element cast into a variety of non ferrous metals that are precision machined to exploit the thermal conductivity of the metal used for the heater body.

Cast-in heaters are used for applications where process contamination excludes the use of mica or ceramic heaters.

Why you should choose Insulwatt cast-in heaters.

  • Our manufacturing process includes metal filtration to exclude contamination and ensure a porous free casting
  • Many heaters fail within 12 months due to oxidation caused by porous surfaces: we offer an 18 month guarantee on all cast-in heaters
  • We only use high quality raw materials that are suited to the application: for example cast aluminium or bronze for durability and even heat distribution
  • We can manufacture heaters in a variety of shapes to suit the application: from small plate heaters to large diameter cooling mandrels, for processes including heaters for melting glue, heating ink and other fluids, printing platen heating of composite material and heating for extrusion equipment
